A New Frontier

Hi! It's JON IRONS here once again, bringing you a new FPS (First-Persion Squash) game for many platforms, based on the Aleph One Engine.

Backstory: Only one year after leading your Ultimate Team to victory in the most vicious Broomball tournament ever, you find yourself growing lax. Being the champions, there's no longer anyone to challenge you in Broomball. Just your luck: as you are leaving your bathroom, the sound of a terminal beeping filters in over the roar of the toilet flushing. You see something on your terminal screen:

xXxNEW TOURNAMENT DETECTEDxXx

As you read the message, you begin to feel more and more excited. And when you see that the tournament is for none other than the ancient game Squash, you almost go have to go back into the bathroom. Only the finest warriors in the world are invited into the ranks of the greatest sport in the Universe!

Deciding not to assemble your old team, you pack your things and leave a tip for the maid. She's gonna need it.

Gameplay

While you may not be familiar with Squash (especially Xtreme Squash), it's not too complicated. Here's a simple diagram to help:

Hosting

To host, you need to do a few things:

1. Launch Aleph One (playing with Infinity files) and click "Gather Game."
2. Select the XST2k7.sceA map in the map selection section.
3. Click on the "More Stuff" tab at the top of the gather dialog window and choose the XST2k7.lua script file, turning "Use Netscript" ON.
4. Tell people to join you. They don't need to do anything special.
